Pennell Hart are a Legal & Compliance specialist executive search firm. One of our key clients, a sovereign wealth fund headquartered in Abu Dhabi, is looking to hire a Compliance Counsel to be based at their central London office.
The Compliance Counsel will be the only compliance professional at the London office but will form part of the broader Ethics & Compliance team which is headquartered in Abu Dhabi.
The Compliance Counsel will be responsible for reviewing and updating policies and procedures to ensure alignment with relevant laws and regulations, compliance monitoring, risk management, reviewing audit reports, leading ethics and compliance training programs, improving ethics and compliance program in line with international best practice and driving ethics and compliance culture.
Our client is particularly interested in meeting with compliance professionals with at least 8 years broad, generalist ethics and compliance experience gained within a corporate setting. This role would not suit candidates coming from a purely financial services background. Ideally your experience will have been gained with at an investment fund.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in law and a professional certification in Compliance ie CCEP.
